<p>2D animation...bleah, it's been done before. Unless they're going to do it in a completely different style, sort of like how Friendship Is Magic does with My Little Pony, count me out. </p>

But we don't want The Smurfs to be redesigned. They should be closer to Peyo's design. I respect your opinion.

<p>If you want 2D animated Smurfs, the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series as well as <i>The Smurfs And The Magic Flute</i> and the two Sony Pictures animated specials are all you'll ever need. </p>
