Why? Just why?
Why did the reboot include the smurfway?? What is the point of this stupid object? Why does it exist? What is its purpose?
Is it supposed to be a quirk of Brainy smurf? An extension of his personality? Why only Brainy posses it!? Why not other smurfs!? WHY HIM SPECIFICALLY!?!?
What was the decision behind including a scooter? Was it to provide slapstick humor? Doesn't the scooter ruin Brainy smurf and decrease his intellect? No wonder why his capabilities got nerfed in Season 2 and 3! He spends too much time f**** around with his "precious" rather than doing something useful like assistanting Papa smurf, reading books, etc. In Season 1, Brainy was an intelligent, brave and capable smurf who saved the entire village plenty of times and protected his friends countless times.
But thanks to Season 2 and 3: he is reduced to a bookworm, scooter-obsessed guy.
The smurfway even destroys his relationships! Not only Brainy but literally everyone is in love with this abomination! Blossom, Lily, Smurfette, Storm, EVERYONE!!
Don't get me started on the episode "Where's my smurfway?" It drives me crazy in every way imaginable. If you thought that Grouchy, Dimwitty, Rowena, Bigmouth etc. Were all annoying? That's nothing! As soon as I saw the scooter, the second the image of the scooter reached my eyes, I lost it.
Anyways, here is a question for smurf fans. Do you think it was a good idea to give Brainy the smurfway? Was it a great addition or not? I know that the smurfway was introduced in the smurfs lost village movie. Please no need to point that out. But what does it indicate? What does it mean for Brainy's character? Does it mean that Brainy is so lonely that everyone ignores him and he created a coping mechanism? How sad!
Was it to be hip with the kids about how technology is progressing and how it is affecting our daily lives? Well, why only Brainy has it and no one else?
I geniuely need to know. And what are your thoughts on including the smurfway in the reboot?
The reboot has introduced pretty interesting concepts like smurfs with superpowers, Gargamel's family, Smurfette's new favorite sport and more. Some may contradict the franchise. Others seem great. The scooter is one of them.

I'd love to see an episode where Brainy has to chose between his glasses and his smurfway. I need to know what he values more in his life! YOU WILL NOT CONVINCE ME THAT THE SMURFWAY IS SO. PRECIOUS AND VALUABLE TO BRAINY!!! The answer is Papa smurf and his books! And his friends! The powerful of friendship is more important than a stupid object!!
