"Adventures In Smurfsitting" is the twenty-third episode of Season 1 of the 2021 CGI TV series, The Smurfs.

Synopsis[]
Clumsy and Dimwitty are taking care of Baby to show the others how helpful they are, but Baby wanders away in the forest.
Summary[]
Dimwitty is sitting on the window of the fire brigade station when he sees smoke and starts calling for the fire brigade. Clumsy explains to him that they're the fire brigade, and they go into action. While driving, the Smurfs run out of the way.
While Chef quietly takes some cakes from his oven and carries them to the other Smurfs that are happily waiting for their lunch, Clumsy and Dimwitty arrive, making a complete mess all over the place and Chef's cakes to fly (One lands on a nose of one Smurf). Chef angrily explains that there was no fire, just a smoke from the oven, and the others leave because of their destroyed lunch, saying some harsh words over Clumsy and Dimwitty.
While Clumsy is very sad because they aren't appreciated by the others, Dimwitty doesn't care saying that they're the greatest "good-for-nothings". Baby crawls pass them and Clumsy wants to find a way to show the others how good they are. Suddenly, they hear something from Papa Smurf's lab.
Baby is loudly bumping with a cauldron when Papa Smurf tries to work. Papa Smurf tries to stop him, but Baby's too cute, so Papa Smurf returns to work. He sees Baby next to his potion and Baby spills something into it, making it explode. Clumsy and Dimwitty watch Baby making a mess and Clumsy gets an idea - they'll take care of Baby. Dimwitty doesn't understand Clumsy, while Papa Smurf is still catching Baby. Baby slides down the stairs fence, but Clumsy catches him before he falls (Dimwitty also jumps to them). Papa Smurf is tired of Baby and Clumsy asks him if they can take care of him. Papa Smurf isn't sure at first, but he finally allows them.
Meanwhile, Baby leaves the house all alone, but the new babysitters quickly catch him and try to explain to him that he mustn't smurf away, making the little Smurf to cry. Clumsy gets an idea to play smurfball, but both Dimwitty and him end up on the floor without the ball. Then Dimwitty is spinning with Baby, but Baby flies up Handy's workshop and lands on him. Then Clumsy is squeaking with his nose and Baby's excited so he grabs the noses of his babysitters and squeaks. Then Baby opens one of Jokey's surprises that explode to annoy the faces of Clumsy and Dimwitty. Later, they take Baby into the forest, where the three all fall asleep.
When Clumsy and Dimwitty wake up, they find that Baby is gone. They are scared, but Baby is happily running through the forest with his teddy bear, and he comes to the ravine. He sneezes and falls into it, landing on the bear. Clumsy and Dimwitty find his pacifier next to the ravine and follows him into it. Baby is still on the bear and makes the bear to sneeze, so he flies away and lands near Bigmouth. Bigmouth is nice to Baby, and he goes to get something to feed the little Smurf. Baby soon follows a bunny back to the forest. Clumsy and Dimwitty meanwhile cross their way with the bear, and they find themselves next to Bigmouth's house too. Bigmouth comes out with a moldy piece of cheese and thinks that Dimwitty is Baby, so they quickly run away.
Baby stops catching the bunny and enters Gargamel's hovel, where Azrael sees him and tries to tell this to Gargamel, who is busy finding a spell that will lure the Smurfs to his hovel.
Azrael jumps away, giving up catching Baby, who just appears on Gargamel's head. Gargamel puts him to the table, where Baby starts making a mess as usual. The wizard tries to catch him with the help of his cat, but they only make a bigger mess and also there's a potion that explodes. Clumsy and Dimwitty, who are finding Baby, hears him and Gargamel from the wizard's castle. They run into the hovel to rescue Baby, but Gargamel just pleases them to take him before it destroys more of his home. They happily find out that they did the job and return to the village with Baby.
They bring Baby back to Papa Smurf, who's very happy that they did a good job, saying that it's nice to see that Baby will always be safe with them. Then the three adult Smurfs notice that Baby ran away, and they see him driving the fire brigade truck.

- This is the third episode in which no female characters appear. The first two are "Joke's On You" and "Leaf It Alone".
- The episode title is an obvious reference to the movie Adventures in Babysitting from 1987.
- This is the final episode in which Baby and Azrael are voiced by Bérangére McNeese and Cherise Silvestri, respectively.
- This is the first episode in the series in which Baby cries.
- The first sound that Clumsy makes when he falls is the same one that Jokey's presents use when they explode.
