Ariel Winter Workman (known professionally as Ariel Winter) is an American actress, voice actress, and singer who is best known for her roles as Sofia in the TV series Sofia the First, Alex Dunphy on the ABC sitcom Modern Family and Penny Peterson in the 2014 DreamWorks Animation film, Mr. Peabody & Sherman.
In the 2017 film Smurfs: The Lost Village, she is the voice of Smurflily.
