Butterfly Catching Smurf (original French name Schtroumpf Chasseur de Papillon) is a background character of the Smurfs comic books. As his name tells us, he is the Smurf who enjoys catching butterflies with a net.

Trivia[]

Though he does not appear in the 1981 TV series, a Smurf can be seen with a net in the long shot of Papa Smurf's assembly in "All Work And No Smurf".
