"Crashing Gargamel's Party" is the thirty-third episode of Season 1 of the 2021 CGI TV series, The Smurfs.

Synopsis[]
Gargamel convinces Dimwitty and Begonia that he has become kind, so they invite him to the village for a party and lead him through the forest into the village.
Summary[]
As Dimwitty and Begonia walk around the forest talking about the sun having a hole in which it can sleep in at night, they are suddenly caught in a trap set up by Gargamel. Azrael discovers they have been caught and wakes up Gargamel to tell him the news. He grabs the two Smurfs out of the hole in hopes of getting them to his hovel. However, both are so clueless that they believe that Gargamel saved them from the hole, giving him and Azrael the idea to get to the village. Gargamel then pretends to act kind, which Dimwitty and Begonia ultimately buy. They make it up to him by having a party in the village Begonia puts an X mark on the map, telling him where the village is. Gargamel then says he has to bring a sack from his hovel to "bring gifts". The two Smurfs go back to the village to tell the news.
It's a super secret suprise
While Papa Smurf is talking to Chef, Dimwitty and Begonia arrive and tell him that a "special person" is coming to the village, but Dimwitty accidentally spoils it by asking what cakes to cats like. Papa Smurf realizes they are talking about Gargamel and Azrael and assures them that he doesn't know where the village is - until Begonia tells him she put it on the map. Papa Smurf worries and rings the Village Bell, causing panic among the village. Dimwitty and Begonia decide to go back to the forest to warn Gargamel in hopes of making peace with the Smurfs.
When the two Smurfs go back to Gargamel, he is angry, but attempts to calm down and tells them he should go to the village anyway. However, both Smurfs have trouble remember where the village is and end up going in circles. They decide to go to the other side and come across a rabbit. They hop fast with the rabbit, tiring Gargamel out. While alone, Gargamel informs Azrael that he still has the map and can use it, but Dimwitty and Begonia jump scare him, and they keep walking. Dimwitty, Begonia, Gargamel, and Azrael go inside a large cave. Gargamel is stuck in it and Azrael is forced to kick him inside of it. Dimwitty warns Gargamel not to wake up the bear in the cave, causing him and Azrael to run out, but they fall of a giant cliff.
Now, my nice little friends, can you tell me where is your village actually located? UP OR DOWN?!
After climbing up, Gargamel asks Dimwitty where the village is, which he replies, "At the bottom" and the two use leaves to go down. As Gargamel is starting to get annoyed by the two Smurfs, the bear in the cave comes and roars at him and Azrael, causing them to fall from the cliff again. Begonia then says that the village is back up the cliff, leading the four of them to go back up again. When they get back up, the two Smurfs still don't see it. Gargamel snaps, saying he is not nice, and he angrily asks where the village is. Begonia and Dimwitty fall inside Gargamel's robe, causing him to tickle laugh, which both of them misinterpret as a real laugh. Gargamel, who is still wounded from laughing, falls and grabs Azrael.
Azrael tears up the map that they had, and the duo fall off the cliff again. Dimwitty and Begonia go back to the village.
Back in the village, the Smurfs have set up traps as Dimwitty and Begonia come back. Papa Smurf wonders where the two have been as they explain they tried to get Gargamel and Azrael to come to the village but they "left so early". Papa Smurf says that's a relief and wonders what Gargamel would do. Dimwitty explains to Papa Smurf that Gargamel is simply dumb. Dimwitty and Begonia laugh as Papa Smurf looks in confusion.
