A cream puff is a type of cake that has frosting on the top, with cake on the bottom. The Smurfs generally eat this in the 2021 TV series, and it also appears in the original Smurfs comics.
In a short story where the Smurfs are celebrating Papa Smurf's birthday, Baker Smurf bakes a plate of cream puffs specifically for Papa Smurf, and Greedy tries to steal one from the window while they're cooling, only to get his hand rapped by Baker's mixing spoon. He later steals one anyway and eats it while he was on the run from Azrael when the cat invades the village.
