Do not confuse with Clockwork Smurf.
Diaper Daddy (original French name Robot-Nounou) is a minor character of the 2021 TV series. He is a robot who was created by Handy Smurf in the episode of the same name.
Background[]
The problem was that none of the Smurfs wanted to change Baby Smurf's diapers, so Papa Smurf asked Handy Smurf to change it. Handy in turn created Diaper Daddy to take care of and change Baby's diapers.
The next morning, Yellow Painter Smurf and Blue Painter Smurf argue on the roof of the Smurf hut causing both of them to accidentally drop the paint jar on his head. Diaper Daddy, who is out of control, flees the village with the Baby. In the forest, he attacked Gargamel and Azrael and heads to an abandoned castle tower. The Smurfs went too to rescue Baby. When the Smurfs are in the castle the robot attacked him and suddenly Gargamel and Azrael appeared while the Smurfs started from Gargamel, Grouchy managed to enter the castle to stop the robot. The robot again attacks Azrael and then one of its beams that aims at the nose hit Gargamel's backside and runs out of the place. The robot is on the roof with the Baby. Grouchy silently chased after him and almost fell causing the Robot to be about to attack Grouchy when Baby Smurf made a mess of the diaper by changing the diaper immediately and Grouchy turned off the robot causing the Baby to fall accidentally and Grouchy rescued him in time.
Diaper Daddy makes a return in "Smurf To The Future!". He has been revealed to have been reprogrammed to become good after the events of "Diaper Daddy". In this episode, he assists Handy with creating a time machine. Here, he also is shown to be accident-prone, as he mistakenly drops Handy's potion, creating an explosion in his workshop in the process.
Diaper Daddy makes another return in "The Wrench Smurf", which acts as a direct sequel to "Diaper Daddy". Handy repairs him into an assistant rather than a diaper changer. When an accident destroys his memory, he wanders off into the forest, having become no longer become good or evil, and trying to find his dad. Gargamel finds him and turns him evil. His villainy is used to capture the Smurfs until Handy, who had tried to form a bond with Diaper Daddy, is heartbroken at his new alignment. Because of this, Diaper Daddy betrays Gargamel and throws him into the hands of two storks, who drop him near Bigmouth.
Later, Diaper Daddy realizes his true "dad" was Handy.

However, he is referred as "Clockwork Smurf" and promotional releases refer to him as "Robot", though this is likely because the game is based on the 2021 TV series, which does not feature Clockwork, while this confirms that Diaper Daddy is a modern successor to the original Clockwork.
