Synopsis[]
Scruple makes a potion to make Gargamel nice, but something went wrong and Gargamel starts alternating between good and evil. Later, Sassette invites him to the Smurfs' "forgive and forget picnic".
Trivia[]
- In the syndicated version, the part where the Smurflings come back from the forest with their smurfberries that Gargamel picked for them is cut. After that scene, all the Smurfs are still arguing and Papa Smurf wonders if their picnic will bring them together again. The scene instead starts after Gargamel sends Azrael and Scruple into the forest to get more potion, then the scene in the village with the Smurfs fighting.
- Despite being a character that commonly gets into arguments, Hefty does not appear in this episode.
Goofs[]
- When the Smurflings are running from Azrael, Nat's feet resemble Smurf pants, but blue.
- When Azrael cornered the Smurflings near a large rock, his eyes are white before he was picked up by Gargamel which changed to the normal yellow.
- In one of the long shots of the Smurfs arguing, Vanity can be seen, but another Smurf is seen holding a mirror.
- Though unlikely, it is possible this Smurf stole Vanity's mirror.
- When Scruple (as a nice person) frees the Smurfs, the only ones present are the Smurflings and Papa Smurf, with everyone else captured not being there. In the next shot, the four Smurflings and Papa Smurf are still the only ones there, but they are joined by an unnamed Smurf.
- Near the end, Handy appears without his suspenders and his pencil. In this same scene, Lazy resembles Clumsy and Painter has a normal Smurf hat.
- When Sassette says "Never forget who it is you're forgiving" in the end, Handy's pencil is missing.
