The Fable Wizard is a character that appeared only in the Smurfs Season 7 episode "Poet's Storybook." On the road to his home riding on a horse, he lost the Magic Storybook in the Smurf Forest. He finds it later in the hands of Poet Smurf, who takes it and by writing his stories in the book makes things happen in real life. Poet saves the Smurfs in writing good things in the Book to make it a happy ending. Later, the Smurfs visit the Fable Wizard and bring him back his Book, who then becomes happy. He was voiced by Hamilton Camp.
Papa Smurf states that his name is Wando the Warlock, although the audio from this episode overlaps his line with the growling of the monster flowers circling him and the other Smurfs, making it difficult to completely determine if that is the name (Wando) that was spoken.
