Kloog is a character that appeared in the cartoon show episode "Papa's Family Album", mostly in a flashback story that Papa Smurf told his little Smurflings in the present point of the episode. He was an evil goblin henchman serving the evil imp magician, Hotap who wanted to capture the Smurfs and turn them into gold. Kloog served as the head goblin and led the invasion on the Smurf Village to kidnap all the Smurflings and bring them to Hotap. After Brainy Smurf escaped, Kloog tried to recapture him but only to end up being scared away by some bats. After being scolded by Hotap for his incompetence, they proceeded to begin their plan of turning the Smurflings into gold. Luckily the goblin henchmen along with Kloog were scared away by a group of bats that Brainy had led into their lair and the Smurflings were then saved by Papa Smurf.
