Nelson is a character who appeared in the cartoon show episode "The Littlest Giant". He is a giant, the father of Simon, who went missing when he went out to play, and was comforting his wife Lydia when the Smurfs brought the boy safely home, much to the joy of both parents. Later on, when Gargamel paid a visit to Simon after he was soon home, Nelson encountered the evil wizard and chased after him with the boy's pet bear Fitzgerald.
