The Noisemaker is a character in the Smurfs cartoon. He is the current maker of all sounds in the world of the Smurfs and resides in Echo Valley. He is a somewhat grouchy but fair being who devotes his existence to making noises of all kinds for the world to hear.
His only appearance was in the episode "Unsound Smurfs" where the Smurflings sought him out in hopes of using his sounds to break a magical barrier which was encasing the Smurf Village. However, after Baby Smurf broke many of his sounds, he forced them all to leave, but luckily Baby was able to get a hold of the sound they needed to free the Smurfs: the sound of a pin drop.
