The North Pole is the northernmost geographical location of the Earth, located in the middle of the Arctic Ocean. In mythology, the North Pole is where Santa Claus lives with his workshop of elves to create toys for children. In mainstream Smurfs media, it is an actual pole that connects the Land of Myth to the Earth and is used on occasions where a rainbow would not appear to allow access between the worlds, such as in the cartoon show episode "Blue Eyes Returns" when Smurfette summoned for him to appear at the time when Gargamel flooded the entire Smurf Forest with the use of magic beans.
