Nugget is a bear that Gargamel bought as a pet from a shady dealer using fairy gold in the cartoon show episode "All's Smurfy That Ends Smurfy". Its seller claims that the bear is able to sniff out gold, which will make its owner richer. However, as it turned out, the only type of "gold" the bear was able to sniff out was honey, which brought Gargamel into contact with a swarm of bees time and again.
