Olaf Uphorn is a character that appeared in the Season 9 episode "Big Shot Smurfs". He is the leader of the Uphorn tribe, whose main enemy was the Downhorn tribe and its leader, Leif Downhorn, as Olaf thought they had stolen a recipe of his grandmother's.
In the episode, he captured Brainy Smurf and allowed him to be the Uphorns' giant general in their war with the Downhorns. He soon realized his mistake, as Brainy was far too preoccupied with speaking nonsense than thinking up ways to defeat the Downhorns. Soon, he and his men came to an agreement with the opposing tribe, sending both Brainy and Greedy Smurf off their island, as Greedy also did not care about being a war general as much as he cared about food.
After the strong windstorm from their previous battle, the lost recipe is discovered again, revealing it had truly not been stolen by the Downhorns. This settles the feud once and for all, bringing peace back to the two tribes once again.

Olaf wears a viking-styled helmet with two cow horns facing the sky, a light-coloured beard and clothes, along with a blue cloak.
