The Proto-Smurf Girls are a group of scrapped characters who are intended to appear in an unpublished comic book story centering on the Smurfs on vacation in a voyage at sea. Like their successor --- the Smurf Girls, they live further away from Smurf Village.
According to a cartoonist working in Studio Peyo, it is stated that like the group lives in an island and have a lot of dependence and interaction with nature: they collect drops of dew to get the scarce fresh water available, essential for their survival.
Trivia[]
- On the model sheet for the characters, the characters are referred to as "Smurfilles" --- predating the debut appearance of their successors.
- Unlike their successors, the group's hair color is diverse in appearance.
