Racing Snails

The Racing Snails are Farmer's racing snails that appear in various episodes of the 2021 cartoon show, first appearing in the episode "The Round Up".

Character[]

These snails are often residing in Farmer's pen, though they are also used for the annual snail race in the village. Jokey, who was tired of the slow snails, used a magic potion to make them go super-fast. As Farmer describes, they are "his babies" and when racing, they have special tattoos and accessories to tell them apart. They are super friendly outside of the potion, evident when they hug Farmer in slime.

The snails can be identified as either green or orange. The green snails have orange shells, while the orange ones have blue shells.

The female snails have the same appearances as the male snails, as seen in "Shell Game", where one of the snails attempts to flirt with Gargamel (who had transformed himself to a snail).

Personality[]

When not racing, the snails are normally quite lazy, as they are slow snails. They can occasionally be mischievous, as they abandon Farmer to join Wild Smurf in "The Snail Whisperer" and laugh at Farmer when his attempts to win them back fail.

Sometimes, the snails will move fast when scared. In "The Magic Pumpkin", Farmer uses a Gargamel mask to scare them and they run to the roof of their pen.
