The Roc is a prehistoric winged creature that resides in the Rainbow Pool guarding it in the episode "The Color Smurfy". It initially scared off the Smurfs when they arrived at the pool, but when Gargamel chased after them using a fishing line with a suction cup attached to it, he ended up awakening the Roc and having it chase after him while the Smurfs were able to get the liquid light from the pool.
