Synopsis

Emboldened by her own talents, Storm enlists Lily and Blossom to help her achieve the impossible: chase Gargamel out of the forest forever!

Plot

In the forest, Gargamel and his cat Azrael are chasing Smurfette, Hefty, and Handy yet again. Hefty manages to distract him by throwing a rock at him, which he avoids, but gets hit by a branch and is flung into the air, landing on Azrael. However, this does not stop them and they continue chasing them, but suddenly as Hefty tries to fight them off, a rope stops him. It trips over Gargamel and he hits Azrael, causing the two of them to blast away into the sky. It is revealed that this rope was made by Storm, who gloats about her victory as the wizard and cat fall elsewhere in the forest. Hefty is unimpressed, believing that "closing the deal" would mean chasing Gargamel out of the forest permanently, which will never happen. Storm gets an idea from this and is confident that it would work. She runs away to "make history". Reporter arrives on the scene, delivering clever quips for Storm's potential victory. Hefty thinks Storm is simply showing off, but Smurfette and Handy assure him that she always means what she says. The two Smurfs and Reporter take off to the village, with a jealous Hefty staying. Reporter reports on a stork while the Smurfs listen in the village. As soon as Hefty thinks she is still showing off, all Smurfs tell him to be quiet. Reporter calls Storm's operation "See Gargamel Run".

Storm goes to Gargamel's hovel with Blossom and Lily, who are happy to help her but also believe it's risky. Storm ignores Blossom's fear about going back. In the hovel, Gargamel is making a mind-controlling potion and tests it on Azrael. It works when the cat dusts his floor. However, Azrael goes back to normal upon sneezing. He prepares to pound Gargamel, but the two hear the door. He sees Blossom and Lily, who mock him, prompting him to chase them. This gives Storm time to enter the hovel. Blossom and Lily narrowly escape the duo, followed by Storm hitting him with his window door and Azrael getting hit by said door closing. The two girls go back to the hovel's entrance and up the backyard. Meanwhile, Storm is making a drink to counter. As the evil duo attempt to follow Blossom and Lily, they pelt them with apples.

Gargamel goes back into the hovel to drink a glass of water - or so he thinks - as the drink was filled with pepper juice, causing him to run around his hovel, culminating in getting hit by a pan and sitting on his stool, which breaks (Storm cut a leg off with a chainsaw). Storm jumps on him, stating that he needs to leave her forest, angering him. Storm proceeds to throw several foods at Gargamel and attempts to hit an orange at him. For the first time, Gargamel gets an actual comeback when he hits the orange back at Storm, knocking her out of the hovel. Reporter continues reporting on a stork that Storm had been one-upped by Gargamel, which scares the Smurfs and makes Hefty run off.

Blossom and Lily are beginning to get tired and ask if Storm should get backup. She refuses, wanting for it to be just the three of them against him. Lily gets the idea of "Plan Bzzz" involving a swarm of bees ganging up on him. One bee goes into his hovel, followed by dozens and dozens which sting him to no end. He tries to get out from the hovel's chimney but gets punched down. When he runs out of it, they form a boot and kick him right back in. The three girls compliment the bees. Reporter reports this to the village, delighting everyone - even Grouchy.

Storm initiates the next part of the plan, which involves her, Blossom, and Lily to yell out to get them. They throw rocks at the door, but as Azrael is about to attack them, he trips on Gargamel after he opens the door. The two crash, followed by them getting hit by dozens of springs, one of which catapults them into the hovel again. The Smurfs back at the village cheer upon Reporter saying Gargamel is "on the count". Gargamel is beginning to get irritated about his losses, but once again is he upstaged when he sees an exploding mushroom, followed by dozens more. Gargamel and Azrael decide to genuinely leave, surrendering forever. However, this is all a prank, which none of the Smurfs know.

Believing Gargamel is permanently gone, the Smurfs and Smurf Girls alike dance. Lily and Blossom decide to make it a hangout. However, they see a pot whistling, and outside, Storm sees Gargamel close every door in his house with a button controller. The pot - the mind controlling pot from earlier, starts boiling out of the pot, which scares Lily and Blossom and the two try to escape as high as the hovel goes. Reporter notices this and reports it, shocking every village Smurf once more. However, he sees Hefty, who is coming to the rescue.

Storm sees Hefty and grabs him out of sight while the wizard is pulling epic dance moves. Storm is curious why Hefty is here but apologizes when she realizes that she bit off more than she can chew, something that Hefty admits he has done before. Storm and Hefty wonder how they will one-up Gargamel, but Storm gets an idea. Gargamel continues to dance until he sees Hefty distracting him. He and Azrael try to chase Hefty into the forest while Storm is occupied with rescuing Blossom and Lily. The stork Reporter was using is given to Hefty and Storm while the evil wizard and cat chase them. They chase them back near the hovel, but get hit with a spring trap again, catapulting them to the hovel door. Gargamel drops the button controller and it is taken by Hefty, who uses it to mind control Gargamel and Azrael and free Blossom and Lily. Hefty and Storm celebrate and cheer. Reporter asks the two of them how it feels to be heroes, and Hefty and Storm simply say it was nothing.

They seem to get rid of a mind-controlled Gargamel and Azrael by saying they get out of the forest forever, but all of a sudden, the stork's feather falls on him, making him sneeze and his mind goes back to normal. He sees the Smurfs once again and chases them. Reporter simply states it's "just like old times" but Hefty and Storm assure him they got this.
