Dreamy's smurfday celebration in "The Astro Smurf"

The smurfday party table that was in use in "All Hallows' Eve"
- This is not to be confused with the Smurf custom of Smurf Day.
A smurfday is the way of saying birthday in Smurf. It is first seen in the cartoon show episode "The Astrosmurf", where the Smurfs celebrate Dreamy Smurf's birthday.
A few times in the 1981 cartoon show, birthdays were used as plot points for their stories. In "All Hallows' Eve", Jokey was celebrating his birthday on Halloween, and Lazy refused to be a part of it because Mother Nature accidentally turned him red with her autumn wand. In "The Secret Of Shadow Swamp", Grouchy escaped to Shadow Swamp in order to get away from celebrating his birthday and met with an imp named Dismal Boggs who was in search of the Enchanted Falls. In "Queen Smurfette", the Smurfs celebrated Smurfette's birthday by letting her become queen for a day, but because Father Time fell asleep while he was fishing on the River Of Time, he failed to bring the day to a close and this started an uprising in the Smurf Village that Papa Smurf had to stop.
In the 2021 cartoon show episode "Who's In The Band?", the Smurf Orchestra sets up a concert to celebrate Willow's birthday, but because Slammy temporarily left the orchestra due to Rocky and Meteorite pointing out that he behaves like a diva. Vanity took his place as the group's diva.
In a comic book story published in Schtroumpf magazine, the Smurfs were preparing to celebrate Papa Smurf's birthday with a special party, but they had to deal with Azrael making his way into the Smurf Village to attack the Smurfs.
In The Smurfs 2, this becomes a plot point for the movie's story, as Smurfette seems to think that her fellow Smurfs have forgotten about her birthday, and Gargamel plays upon this by giving her a birthday cake and present (a miniature version of his dragon wand) so that she would reveal to him the formula that Papa Smurf used to make her into a real Smurf. By the end of the movie's story, it is revealed that the Smurfs haven't forgotten about her and were simply trying to make her birthday party a surprise.
