"Stop And Go Smurfs" is a Season 7 episode from the 1980s Smurfs cartoon show.

Synopsis[]

For helping Painter with his next project, Papa Smurf enchants Greedy's dinner bell with an immobilizing spell, making six Smurfs stop in time or release them from the spell when someone ring the bell. But a little girl finds the bell and takes it.

Trivia[]

This is one of the few episodes in which none of the new main characters that were introduced from Season 5 to this season (i.e., the Smurflings, Grandpa, Wild, Puppy, and Scruple) appear in.
Adella's voice closely resembles Lil's voice in Rugrats, as both characters are voiced by Kath Soucie. However, this episode was released in 1987, which was four years before Rugrats was released.
Ernst's voice resembles Mrs. Puff's voice in SpongeBob SquarePants, predating the voice by 12 years (SpongeBob was first aired in 1999). This is because both characters are voiced by Mary Jo Catlett.
