The One True Heir[]
the only thing i don't get is why the "one true heair" couldn't of been female.

- The problem is that it would violate the patrilinear nature of the estate's inheritance. To keep it in the family's name, a male descendant with the same surname must be its inheritor. Peyo was most likely working off that idea being the norm for medieval European inheritance laws. (Vic George (talk) 15:45, November 26, 2014 (UTC))
