The original owner of the Box Of Dirty Tricks is an unnamed character who appears in the 1980s cartoon show episode "The Box Of Dirty Tricks". He is a mountain dweller who has had a miserable existence with the Box he was in possession of. Try as he might, he couldn't get rid of the Box, as it always kept coming back to him. However, when Gargamel came up to the mountain to seek advice from him on how to get rid of the Smurfs, the owner of the Box pawned the Box off onto the unsuspecting wizard, thus successfully ridding himself of the Box forever.
