Synopsis[]
Johan and Peewit are telling a story about their first adventure.
Plot Summary[]
The episode begins with Johan and Peewit tracking with the Smurfs on the way to the picnic. However, Greedy has eaten all the food. Papa Smurf is happy to greet them. Peewit jokes that he’s hungry or than the goblin a boulder word. Johan says that it’s a myth that live near the King's Castle. Peewit asks if Johan will tell the story. Johan tells everyone to gather round. The Smurfs wonder if there’s stuff in there and Johan confirms. The Smurfs ask him to tell them, and he says it’s before he and Peewit even met. He tells them that a goblin was frightening people which scares them. Johan says that the goblin might be closer than they think, and Peewit makes a silly face. He explains that he was riding a drawbridge. There’s the royal wood cutter cutting some logs. The wood cutter explains that she better hurry or the goblin would come.
Meanwhile, an arm steals an apple and eats it. Johan arrives to see a frightened wadcutter who tells him the story of the goblin. Johan, while skeptical, still investigate and then here’s a whole wing. Johan chases after him but catches a rabbit. Johan comments that the goblins tricky however he’s willing to catch him no matter what. Meanwhile, Barbara explains that subpoenas is returning and orders a lot to be done. The king tells her to shut up so he can eat. Then the same hand steals the King's lunch and eats it.
They suspect the goblin and the King orders somebody to catch the goblin. Johan notices that the goblin is always hungry, and it gives him an idea. He set a trap and catches the goblin but turns out to be a young boy. The boy escapes, but Johan chases him. The boy then tries to flee in a log but trips allowing Johan to chase him again. The boy then asks his goat for help. The goat then knocks Johan far from the boy. They then chase Johan but escapes by jumping on a branch which causes them to crash. Johan decide to demand the boy to say his name. The boy says his name is Peewit. He also introduces his goat. Johan introduces himself as the king's squire and notices that for a goblin he’s not very tough. Peewit also says that Johan is not very tough for a big guy. Johan gives him some bread after Peewit asks for more food. Peewit explains that he used to work for many farmers until the villagers chased him off and teased him. Johan discovers that he’s not dealing with a goblin at all. Peewit explains that a man saw him and thought he was a goblin and he’s been acting like one ever since. Peewit explains that he’s very crafty. Johan doesn’t like that he steals. Peewit also explains that he’s a great person at doing tricks and telling jokes and even singing.
Johan then gets an idea and suggests that he becomes the jester. Peewit likes the idea and is about to tell one, but Johan says he must go back but he’ll tell the King. Johan then tells the King about Peewit. Dean Barbara then interrupts and says Sabina was kidnapped. The King asks for his guards. The guards then tell him they were attacked by the goblin. Johan doesn’t believe it at first but when the guards say that he showed his name he believes them. Dane Barbara and the king vow that he’ll be sorry and that whoever catches him will be rewarded. Johan then goes to find him. The knights also come. Johan is a bit suspicious though. Soon he encounters Peewit again and interrogates the child on kidnapping Sabina, Peewit denies it and says two imposters dressed as the king's guards did it. Johan angrily curses himself for falling for the tricks and apologizes and they hatch a plan.
Soon, a bridge guard notices the squire and they continue into the castle. Johan then makes a feast for the fake guards. they enter and begin boasting about their evil deeds, kidnapping Sabina, and framing Peewit. They also believe they'll get rewarded as well. Peewit, however, hears everything and bonks their feet and watches as they fight each other until they both get knocked out. Johan is informed of the mastermind and Peewit decides to inform the king, but Johan says it's going to be harder than that and says they need evidence. They arrive and Johan sees Peewit has fallen asleep. Johan sees a knight riding out of the castle and recognizes him and suspects he's a traitor. he decides to give chase and catches up and questions him. he runs off and thinks he's escaping but Johan catches up. However, the mastermind captures Johan. Peewit sees he has a dilemma. The next morning, Johan tries to escape and complaining about it. The traitor's knight escapes but is captured by Peewit. The kid gets an idea after seeing some hay. Johan is taken away before the mastermind figures out the plan. He tries to bribe the squire, but he refuses. They hear Peewit crying out as Johan is taken back to his cell. The mastermind says they should capture Peewit, or his plan is ruined. The hefty guard is defeated by Peewit. The pair reunites and rescues Sabina as the evil guards chase them. Peewit says he'll take care of them. He lures them into a fireplace where he defeats them. Johan and Sabina take on the many guards and the mastermind. Peewit falls on the mastermind. The trio then escape into a room where Sabina says her uncle isn't safe until Peewit says he tied up the traitorous knight. An amazed Johan asks Peewit why he did it and he says he won't desert his new friends. They get an escape idea, and the boasting bad guys aren't the wiser. Johan distracts them while Peewit and Sabina escape. However, Peewit gets spotted, and they knock him down. Johan, thinking him to be dead mourns him, but Sabina informs him he survived. Peewit sees the traitorous knight escaped and he rushes to warn the king. Soon he arrives and explains the story. The King and his army arrive and challenge them. Peewit suggests he leads, and the King agrees. Johan is informed of the drawbridge and along the way, defeats the guards. He lowers the drawbridge and the royal army attack them. The mastermind surrenders due to Peewit. The King makes Peewit his new jester with an outfit he hates. Dame Barbara mocks him and he wants to get even. Johan concludes his story, and the Smurfs are glad of the ending, and they are happy to see them understand. Jokey gives Peewit an exploding box which inspires him. The duo rides off bidding farewell to the Smurfs.
