Season 3, which began airing in Belgium on August 25, 2024, and in the U.S. starting on September 2, 2024, introduces various new characters: Gargamel's niece, Rowena, and his nephew, Dwayne, a dragon named Voltaire, a young dragon who lives in a cave, and two new Smurf Girls: Bubble, who teleports, and Firefly, who glows in the dark. The two reside in their village, which was first shown in "Dragon Pet".
Like the previous seasons, Season 3 will consist of 52 episodes.
Intro Sequence
A brand new intro was created for this season. First, Voltaire arrives and knocks Brainy, Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and Handy off the screen. The former three ride on his back as he passes by the village inhabitants Farmer, Chef and Hefty. Papa Smurf, Smurfette, and Brainy fall off Voltaire, who is given a berry by Lily. Meanwhile, Baby and Monkey ride on Diaper Daddy in delight. Then, the scene cuts to Willow, who is looking into her crystal ball and senses two Smurf Girls, Bubble and Firefly, that are in Gargamel's hovel, one of them glows and the other has braids. The evil wizard comes to attempt to capture him with Azrael, Dwayne and Rowena. Firefly gets trapped, but magically teleports to safety with Bubble. Wild is then used as a wipe transition to the village, and the ending screen features Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Brainy, Jokey, Hefty, Clumsy and Dimwitty (as members of the fire brigade), Blossom, Storm, Wild, Bubble and Firefly.
